Animals can get ill and have developmental problems just as humans can – although I don’t know about the details of particular diseases like cerebral palsy. The trouble is that in the wild, animals with major disabilities are unlikely to live very long – they’d either be eaten by something or not be able to catch food and starve.
Rob makes a good point that it’s probably difficult to study this in the wild since these animals would likely be easy prey. Some diseases are exclusive to animals, and others to human but they definitely share some.
