I think there was a nurse who caught ebola in Sierra Leone who was brought back to the UK for treatment. When they were better, they went straight back out to Sierra Leone to help again!

I am not an expert in this field, and my answer is based entirely on what I have read in the media. I don’t believe there are currently any cases of Ebola in this country, though we have treated some in the past. Ebola is surprisingly hard to catch (harder than say the flu) and requires direct contact with someone infected at a time when they are clearly showing symptoms (you’d know they were infected!). There are probably some samples somewhere in some carefully controlled laboratory environments though.

Not currently. But when they treat people over here it is well contained so cannot spread.
