Some science definitely – I really struggled with organic chemistry… and some bits of physics took me longer than others to get to grips with. The same was true during university.

Looking back, I think part of the problem was learning how my own brain worked. It took me time to work out the best way for me to study – and I didn’t really get a good idea of that until my final two years of university! If I’d known at school, I’d have found things much easier! But I guess it’s all part of the process 🙂

Like Anna, I too struggled with Organic Chemistry. I had a good teacher too, but it was just solid. At the time I panicked because I thought I had to be good at everything. How wrong I was.

I struggled a bit with chemistry at GCSE – I found there were to many facts to learn by wrote.

A A-level I found physics to be the hardest of all the subjects I studied and it was the subject I got the lowest marks in. It was really interesting though, so I kept going.
