• Question: At which time is it truthfully predicted that the universe will end?

      We can’t really answer that because we don’t know the SHAPE of the universe:

      Hopefully the universe won’t end — but if it does it will be a LONG time from now.

      This is a difficult question – lots of theories of cosmology say that eventually the Universe will stop expanding and collapse back in on itself, but that collapse won’t be just the same expansion in reverse so it’s uncertain how long it would take.

      Current cosmology suggests the universe is flat, and therefore won’t collapse back on itself. It will just expand… until all the stars appear to disappear. How sad.
