• Question: do parallel dimensions exist?

      Why do they need to be parallel dimensions..? There’s a great book called “Flatland” where people live in only one or two dimensions and dream about a third dimension…

      We are limited to the three dimensions we can experience (four if you count time) – for there to be other dimensions, they don’t need to be parallel they just need to be outside our normal ones!

      There are lots of theoretical physicists who work on studying the idea that there may be many more dimensions in our own Universe that we can experience. Some of these theories actually predict observable effects that can be seen if there are more dimensions. If those ever get detected then I’ll probably believe in the other dimensions. Until then I’m staying undecided 🙂

      Like in Doctor Who? I certainly think that parallel universes might exist. But we don’t know anything about them yet if they do.
