• Question: Do you think that humanity will be wiped out like dinosaurs and another species will replace us?

      The dinosaurs were probably wiped out from climate change stimulated by a series catastrophe such as a comet or asteroid hitting the Earth. It is entirely feasible the same could happen to us (although our intelligence would help with certain issues). If a virus wiped us out, then I suspect certain species wouldn’t be affected, and some species would ‘replace’ us in the sense that they become top of the food chain.

      Possibly. That’s natural selection in a very sudden way. Whatever it is that wipes us out (and there are lots of options…) we’ll probably be replaced by the species that is best suited to survive that event. Even if that species is something completely different – like bacteria!
