• Question: Do you think the world will end? if so why and when?

      Hey Eloise – we can set a pretty certain date on the end of the Earth in about 5 billion years time. That’s when the Sun will run out of fuel and expand to become a red giant. It will probably engulf the Earth completely and, even if it doesn’t, it will make things pretty hot around here… and then really cold when it shrinks afterwards to become a white dwarf 🙂

      Before then? There are other things that could happen, but none so absolutely destructive of the Earth as a whole!
