The one in my picture? Not very – it’s a solar telescope. It doesn’t need to have powerful magnification since the sun is quite large. It does, however, have a very strong hydrogen-alpha which filters out enough ‘light’ that you don’t burn your retinas out when you look through it!
A more powerful telescope can be found on our roof. We have a 10″ Visual and a 6m Radio Telescope which is used to look for Masers (strong spectral line in the Microwave range).
