Hey Hargrid – the great thing about science is that every new piece of research fills in a little bit more knowledge.

I think my work will contribute to lots of areas – how stars form, how the Universe formed, and how to send data around the world much faster! The great thing about radio astronomy is that lots of the technical work we do building equipment produces useful things for everyday life – like wifi, for example. We don’t set out to make wifi – but we need it to do our science, so it gets invented along the way!
